They are literally immediately across the street from one another (or across the esplanade).

You are aware that this is a huge shift if you are coming from Disney World.

But at the Disneyland Resort, you can simply move from one park to the next using nothing more than your own two feet.

Their sizes are also quite comparable.

A total of 500 acres makes up the Disneyland Resort, which includes hotels and theme parks.

Of this area, Disneyland Park occupies 85 acres, while California Adventure occupies 72 acres.
